Dennis Pittsenbarger! Check out the Iowa Speedway logo on his racing suit (my home track)!

This week’s podcast show guest is none other than Dennis Pittsenbarger, the host of Hot Rod Magazine Live. His syndicated national radio show was born right from the pages of nearly every gearhead’s favorite magazine, Hot Rod!

During the interview Dennis shared his background, and a lot of people may be surprised to learn that he didn’t start out originally in broadcasting, but instead in paint and body work! As his career progressed he moved into TV and radio, became friends with Alan Taylor (host of Motor Trend Radio and CEO of the Entertainment Radio Network), and then became the host of Hot Rod Magazine Live as well as Circle Track Radio. He lives in Oregon with his wife and little girl, races cars, and travels a lot to cover cool events. Just recently he had to go drive the new Camaro ZL1, which is a rough job, but I’m sure he got through it.

I met Dennis at the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction back in January and we hit it off instantly. He was cool enough to let me on his show last February (check the Feb 25 episode – I kick off Hour 1), so here’s my chance to return the favor. Dennis was a fun guy to interview because he’s 100% energy, loves cars, and NEVER stops talking! In other words, my kind of guy!

Thanks for the interview, Dennis!

AT LAST

As I’ve been mentioning for the past few weeks, I finally launched my newest show “Cars For a Living” on the The MuscleCar Place Network. This show is dedicated to helping people take their automotive dreams and make them into a career or business. It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it took me a while to figure out how to approach it.

If you’d like to learn more about it click THIS LINK or the picture below to listen to the first episode and to sign up for the special edition Cars For A Living newsletter.
