Kibbe and Friends

Welcome to the official Kibbe and Friends Show with myself, Justin “Corndog” Cornette, and Show Producer Bernie McPartland! With this show we’re basically setting up the Boars Nets for the entire automotive media world to swing through for a couple watered down beers, stale popcorn, and fantastic waitresses. You can find every episode here on The MuscleCar Place as well as iTunes, Stitcher, iHeart Radio, and Google Play. From time to time we’ll also be posting video clips and full shows to The Kibbe and Friends YouTube channel.  If you click the “Download” link at the top of this post you’ll be able to stream it on your phone directly. Chris Holstrom (second from left) at SEMA 2016 – winning yet another major award!

Chris Holstrom: COVID-19 Survivor

Since the KF show is built around automotive and pop culture topics we decided to do a culture specific discussion with Chris Holstrom from Chris Holstrom Concepts in Seattle. Chris and his team have built award winning cars for years and he’s an awesome guy. Recently he, his wife, and his young children all were infected by COVID-19! They are on the back side of it now….and while everyone’s symptoms are different we thought it would be helpful to hear from a trusted voice on what it’s really like. Think of this as a selfish quest for information that just happens to be a public service. You can learn more about Chris’ company here:

Dukes Review: S5E12 “The Treasure of Soggy Marsh”

K&F Show Summary:

Sheriff Little proves once again that the only competent lawman on this show is African American. He’s the only person that ever seems to actually catch the Dukes! The stunts are great. At the end of the show the General jumps into a pond. There might be an airboat in here somewhere. That said, after the last episode though I have emotionally moved on from the Coy and Vance era of this show. I pulled a clip of Rosco doing a sampler reel of all of his sounds. I guess that was funny….and ironically, it sums up all of the Coy and Vance episodes somehow. Meh. 4 Corndogs.

Season 5 Episode 12
“The Treasure of Soggy Marsh”
Written by William Raynor and Myles Wilder
Directed by James Sheldon
Original Airdate Dec 10, 1982
