Today’s Car: Weekly eBay Pick: LeMans Blue ’69 Chevelle SS 396!

’69 Chevelle SS 396, ‘real’ SS 396 with A/C. Power disc brakes, power steering, 12 bolt rear, tilt wheel, buckets console….  All original steel panels painted LeMans Blue, a beautiful color on this car, really makes the chrome stand out !  Paint is base coat clear coat, overall very nice paint, smooth and buffed to a great shine !  The 396 is a date coded correct motor for the car, and starts right up, runs strong with no weird noises at all, sounds good, no leaks.  New interior in excellent condition, bucket/console, no issues, GM seat belts.  The engine bay is very detailed as you can see in the pics, also in excellent condition !   New Rev Classic wheels and new tires.  Trunk is GM spatter painted correct, with spare and mat.  The undercarriage is clean, never rusted, never patched, never undercoated, smooth and clean painted satin black.  New dual Flowmaster exhaust, new brakes.  All chrome and glass in excellent condition.  Car in overall great condition, and very eye catching !  Starts quickly and runs very well, and very strong !   * Have had the car mechanically inspected by a professional, which included a drive test as well, came though without issue !  Confirmed that disc brakes and 12 bolt were original to the car.  The Kansas City produced SS cars have and ‘L’ on the cowl tag to inform the guys on the line that this Malibu is gonna be a CheveLLe SS when we’re through with it.  *Every single documented SS car from the Kansas City plant has the ‘L’ on the cowl tag, only one guy claimed to have a ‘non’ – SS car with the ‘L’, but never sent photo proof of this anomilee….This car has the ‘L’ on the cowl tag, and the original trunk lid, front header panel and fenders had the holes for the ‘Chevelle’ emblems and the ‘SS 396’ emblems.  True Chevelle SS here… and you can eat off of any part of this car, it’s that clean top to bottom !
