Today’s Car: Solid and straight 66′ Chevelle: 396, 4-Speed, and A/C!

Up for sale is a 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS. This is a true Super Sport 138 vin code that is new from front to back and has what you would expect in a muscle car. It comes with a killer look paired with a Big Block, Four Speed, Vintage AC, and Brakes.

We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. When you walk around this car you can see that is laser straight down the sides with great fit and all the gaps being good. Everything is covered in the Champagne base coat clear coat that has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish and is accented by the Black Vinyl Top. When you look in the gams and inside the trunk you can see the time that was put into the paint work. It has all new stainless as well as new bumpers and all the emblems look new as well. Also, the weather stripping was replaced to ensure a good fit of the doors and trunk. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Wheels and Tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Chevelle. Everything on the inside is done in black that provides the perfect complement to the exterior scheme. The seats are buckets with the console and the correct 4 Speed Shifter with the Reverse Lock Out. The carpet, door panels, and headliner are all new as well as the seat covers. When you look at the dash it has a new pad as well as new trim. It has the gauge pack cluster and when the vintage AC was added they put the controls in the factory location. Also, the radio has been upgraded to a Vintage AM/FM. This Chevelle retains the factory style seat belts to keep you legal while you cruise.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it looks like it would have in ’66. It has a ’72 model 396 that’s fresh and is mated to the Muncie 4 Speed and 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with Chrome Valve covers and the Stock Chrome Top Breather. They kept the manifolds so that it would retain the factory look. This Chevelle has had the Brakes Upgraded to Power 4 Wheel Disc with drilled and slotted Rotors. Also it comes with Power Steering and the Vintage AC. When you see this can on a rack you will be impressed. It has all new bushings in both ends with New Exhaust and Fuel Tank.
