Today’s Car: Numbers-Matching California ’71 Corvette!
Up for auction is a 1971 Corvette Big Block 454 Convertible that was raised in Southern California with registrations dating back to new and a dealer plate.
This numbers matching 454 Corvette is optioned with smooth automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, and a factory hard top that matches car and soft top as well.
The 454 motor and transmission were rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago so this car runs and drives perfect as it should. It also has brand new stainless steel exhaust, new steel belted radial tires and newer brakes all the way around. This car was purchased new by a Southern California lawyer for his wife who garage kept and cared for it for 36 years. This car was well loved and it shows, it has been only repainted once to original color and maintained as needed. Parts of the original interior do show some minor wear but look fantastic overall.
This is a stand up and stand out, no excuse, California corvette that anyone would be proud to own and drive and still has original documentation making it very collectible and superior to most any for sale.
