Up for auction is our 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 six pack. This car was with the same owner from 1977 to 2014. In 1977 it was purchased in Phoenix, Arizona where it was sold new. It has been in Colorado since, being in a dry climate since new, this car is rust free. It has never had any body panels replaced including the floors, rockers, quarters or trunk. The body is exceptionally nice on this car and very original! It is believed that this car is a two owner car with 110,000 miles. This car retains its original fender tags, both build sheets and original engine and transmission.

The restoration was completed several years ago and was completed by Mopar experts. The restoration included all of the mechanical being rebuilt to factory specifications. All of the suspension was rebuilt along with the brakes. The body was stripped, primed and block sanded multiple times and painted with modern materials. I would rate the paint and body work at a 10. The hood is an original T/A hood that has not seen hood springs in over 30 years, it fits pretty good for an original and has the correct black sheen. All of the glass is nice appears original. All of the trim and chrome plated bright work is restored to “better than new” condition. The wheels are originals and have the correct Goodyear bias ply tires.

The interior is very nice and has maintained many of its original pieces. The dash is exceptional and has all working gauges and components. The steering wheel is an original and shows little wear. I would rate the interior a solid 9.

Under the hood has nice detail and is mostly correct. The numbers matching 340 Six Pack runs like a dream with its original intake and Holley carburetors. No major leaks and sounds awesome through the correct T/A side exhaust system. The trunk is fully detailed as well. It still retains its original space saver spare tire, air tank, jack and hardware.

Everything works as expected on this car. All of the lights, gauges, horns, wipers, etc. are in proper working order. The undercarriage is very nice and original. Its not fully detailed or restored, its original and shows many original factory inspection marks and paint markings on the rear axle and suspension parts. So to sum up the undercarriage, its very nice and original and you can drive this car with out worrying about a water puddle. But when a purest looks underneath the car….. they’re impressed.
