LSX Podcast – Episode 1 – Intro of John Ryan, Tony Whatley, and Rob Kibbe!

Welcome to the first episode of The LSX Podcast show, the newest show on The MuscleCar Place Network of muscle car themed podcast shows! This show is specifically dedicated to fans of GM’s “LS” series of V8 engines, which was introduced in the 1997 Corvette with the LS1. Today the LS series of engines is found in everything from base-model pickup trucks to the 2012 ZL1 Camaro, and it’s become a staple in nearly every modern day muscle car and street rod build. That’s where we come in.

John Ryan, Tony Whatley, and Lisa Whatley

The LSX Podcast will be a bi-monthly show hosted by me, Rob Kibbe, and two members of LSX Royalty; John Ryan and Tony Whatley. John and Tony are the original founder of LS1Tech.com, which is still likely the largest LS-themed forum on the web. They now own PlanetLSX.com. Between the two of them they’ve owned every LS powered vehicle GM has ever made, except the Chevy SSR!

Each show will feature the latest in racing for anything LS powered, be it drag racing, road racing, or fan boat racing (really!). If it has an LS, we’re cool with it. We’ll also feature the latest news from GM in each show regarding current and future LS items. The last section of each show may be the one where we spend the most time, as that’s where we’ll discuss LS tech, our builds, your builds, and answer tech questions as well.

Feel free to e-mail in your questions, and we’ll do our best to answer it. You can contact us with questions for the show as follows:

John Ryan: john@motorsports-media.com

Tony Whatley: tony@motorsports-media.com

Rob Kibbe: robert@themusclecarplace.com

Future episodes of this show will be available in iTunes and Stitcher, so those of you with smart phones can get your fix. Thanks for listening…and hammer down!
