Welcome to the official Kibbe and Friends Show with myself, Justin “Corndog” Cornette, and Show Producer Bernie McPartland! With this show we’re basically setting up the Boars Nets for the entire automotive media world to swing through for a couple watered down beers, stale popcorn, and fantastic waitresses. You can find every episode here on The MuscleCar Place as well as iTunes, Stitcher, iHeart Radio, and Google Play. From time to time we’ll also be posting video clips and full shows to The Kibbe and Friends YouTube channel. If you click the “Download” link at the top of this post you’ll be able to stream it on your phone directly. You can also pull the RSS feed as well.

Presented by Holley!
Holley is the official EFI source for Kibbe and Friends and is the PROUD sponsor of this episode! In fact, our last episode featured the full recap of the entire Terminator Stealth install on #KibbeLee at Cody Crafted in Burleson, TX. The system is on, it works, the car runs, nothing leaks, and we’re ready to do some fine tuning!
We need your help! We’re working with Holley on future things to do with the show….and we really need to know where you live and what you drive. Could you please fill out this super-duper easy four question survey for us? It would REALLY help move the ball forward for the future initiatives we have planned together.
Dukes Review: S5E1 “The New Dukes”
K&F Show Summary:
Dammit. Well…we had to get here eventually. This is the episode where Bo and Luke are replaced by two very similar cousins, Coy and Vance. Why? Because money, that’s why. The merchandising rights of the show were Star-Wars-esque and every kid in the world had a lunch box with Bo, Luke, and the General front and center. John Schneider and Tom Wopat thought they deserved a little more coin for their likeness, Warner Bros disagreed, and a lawsuit war ensued that would (eventually) replace Bo and Luke with Coy and Vance for 19 episodes. Were those actors terrible human beings out to ruin all our lives? Of course not. But they weren’t Bo and Luke. And we wanted Bo and Luke. And Warner Brothers believed we would continue watching anyway because of the car, and continue buying toys, because of the car, and eventually we’d forget there was a Bo and Luke, because of the car. Only we didn’t. So, this launches a 19 episode run of Coy and Vance. The music is weird, dialogue is clumsy, and the stunts are awesome. Enjoy.
