Provenance: ""The origin or source of a valued object"". This car's provenance has been traced back to the 1999 Indy 500 where it was used as a Parade car as well as for some of the other festivities the day of the big race. How cool is that? (Trivia question. Can you name the winner of the 1999 Indy 500?)

The current owner knows how cool the history of this car is and has taken exceptionally good care of it because of that, maintaining this car really well with a ton of receipts documenting the work. This car still looks great in its gloss Black paint with streamlined styling, so you may even get the urge to use it in a parade in your own home town. There is a hard cover over the roof when it's folded down so the dignitaries are able to sit up high and wave to the crowds during the parade. The body presents a super clean look with the only badges on the car being the Indy 500 logos on the front fenders and the Red, White and Blue bowtie emblem on the front of the hood. Camaro is embossed discreetly into the body work at the rear of the car between the tri-colored taillights and the car sits on great looking 5-spoke alloy wheels.

While all that top down fun is exciting, daily life with this car will be quite comfortable. The door panel has power window and lock switches at your finger tips and there is a large storage pocket as well as a speaker along the bottom edge. The high back buckets are great looking and super comfortable with pleated seating surfaces and substantial side bolsters. A beefy, leather wrapped steering wheel feels good in your hands and is mounted on a tilt column. Tucked back under a hood to shroud them from the sun are the speedometer and tach with the fuel, water, oil, and amp gauges arrayed underneath them. In the center of the dash are the switches for the fog lights as well as the power convertible roof switch just above the FM/CD player for your listening pleasure. Ventilation controls including those for the R134 A/C sit just in front of the leather wrapped shifter for the automatic transmission mounted in the center console.

Pop the hood on this car and you will find a series II 3800 V6 sitting in a neat and clean engine bay. Smaller and lighter than its predecessor, it was redesigned with shorter connecting rods, lighter pistons, and better breathing that enables it to make 200 HP and 225 Ft lbs of torque. Mating it to an electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive means that the correct gear and plenty of power is on tap if you decide to let those horses run. Power 4-wheel disc brakes assure that you can reign those horses back in as needed, but power rack and pinion steering as well as sway bars front and rear help the car handle extremely well so that you don't have to worry about slowing down as much between the turns. All that and good gas mileage too! Awesome! The rubber meets the road through 215/60R16 tires mounted on those sharp looking 5-spoke alloys all around.

Good looking, fun, top down motoring in a car with a cool back story. Come on down and check it out. Oh yeah. Kenny Brack. Who knew the answer?
