In honor of Halloween 2018, here’s a little candy that’ll solve any problem you’ll ever have: a “K&F Original Recipe Banter and Dukes Review” episode! This is the one where Cooter falls in love – in about 8 seconds – with the wife of a bad guy who is distracting him while the bad guy steals fur coats that can only be accessed via Cooter’s Garage. The actress was also that one chick in Smokey and the Bandit 3. Remember that one? It’s the one where Burt Reynolds wasn’t in it and Jerry Reed played the Bandit part while driving a Trans Am that looked like KITT. It was terrible. Anyway, this Dukes episode is solid on plot, outstanding on stunts, and marks the last episode of the “small push-bar” Generals. Going forward, they’ll look very different. 10-Corndogs!

Did you catch the October edition of our Patreon show? The one where Finnegan regaled secrets to the world only known to insiders, priests, and (maybe) his wife? If not, you still can! To get in on the action and support the show with a minor financial contribution just click the link below to sign up and get started! We have $1, $2, $5 , and $10 monthly options available.. By far, the $5 is the biggest winner so far! And as always – YOU ROCK!! http://www.patreon.com/kfshow

#88 Million Dollar Sheriff Parts 1 & 2: S4 Episode 8-9 of the Dukes of Hazzard

Here’s the reality of life: there’s very little that happens in your day that you actually have any control over. Schedules change, people change, jobs change, and really – change is all you can count on. So…we suggest changing into a pair of Halloween themed MeUndies! Nothing will give you more confidence throughout your day than knowing the undercarriage is well cared for. Plus, it helps our show! To get 15% off your first pair, free shipping, AND their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and get the best and softest underwear you will ever own, go to www.MeUndies.com/kafs!

Finnegan is back, Dukes episodes are being reviewed, Corndog is deep-frying Mopar facts, and all is right with the world! Listen in to hear our deep dive on SEMA prep, Mopar issues with KibbeLee, and a full review of Parts 1 and 2 of the Million Dollar Sheriff episodes. This is the one where Rosco inherits $10 Million from a long lust unknown uncle, wins Boss Hogg’s entire fortune in a poker game, and then hires a hitman to put Bo and Luke behind bars at whatever cost necessary. And then he changes his mind. And then Uncle Jesse gets hurt. And there’s a duplicate General Lee in the mix for some reason. And Bo & Luke almost get clobbered. And then it turns out Rosco’s inheritance was actually $10, not $10 Million, and all wrongs are righted with a car chase and a beat down of the bad guys. Fin. 10-corndogs on this one!

We are gearing up to record our next monthly “Patreon” only show as we type! Rob here. Mike is out this week, and when plans change suddenly it’s time to go with what you know best; a great pull from the archives! This episode features Mike’s first appearance on The Muscle Car Place in 2015 (Episode 254).

I didn’t know Mike very well at the time but asked if he’d be interested in telling his story of the birth of Roadkill for a feature interview – and he said yes! For those of you who want to know how Roadkill happened, why he moved out of California, etc., this is the full sout-to-nuts story. It was a one-in-a-million happenstance set up by the coming switch to digital content, good talent, an early deal from YouTube, and the pure genius of David Freiburger. Listen in to hear how it all happened.

#85 Our Review of Cannonball Run…Plus a Tribute to Burt Reynolds

We have good news and better news. Good news – after a brief hiatus, MeUndies is back to sponsor this episode!!!! It turns out that they missed us just as much as we missed them and while we were apart they went and made a whole line of comfy Star Wars undies sure to keep the Force strong for you! To get 15% off your first pair, free shipping, AND their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and get the best and softest underwear you will ever own, go to MeUndies.com/kafs! Welcome back, old friends, and dear listeners….this is all REALLY a credit to you. YOU ROCK!!

This episode features our review of the movie Cannonball Run, but it’s really more of a tribute to the late great Burt Reynolds who passed away recently. We loved Burt’s crazy car movies and Cannonball Run was as zany as it ever got. The premise and screen play were a credit to automotive journalist Brock Yates (who makes a cameo in this movie), and then Burt, Dom DeLuise, and Hal Needham took of from there. Alter ego superheroes, cross-eyed proctologists, inappropriate humor (by today’s standards) and ambulances with straight headers are all you need to know. Thanks for the fun, Burt!

You can listen to our review of Smokey and the Bandit back in Episode 31 here as well: http://www.themusclecarplace.com/kf-show-31
