This is a super great episode but what’s most remarkable about it (besides the near moonshot jump of the General lee) may just be that Finnegan’s hour long summary of it. It’s completely awesome. Anyway, here’s the gist of the show: several years ago some hijackers lost some money in Hazzard because they stashed it in a place that later flooded. While Bo and Luke were hooning the General Lee in a river they stumbled upon $1000 big ones. Word spread and it was quickly determined by dirtbike-riding-Baja-bug-driving money chasers across the country that the cash was nearby. The hijackers came back to reclaim it and it turns out that the dude in the Marines that save Luke’s life in Vietnam was one of them. He tells Luke that his hot wife is really his hot sister, gets her to flirt with Luke, cars fly, and wrongs are righted. Daisy fights a chick in this episode, so that’s good too. 9 Corndogs.

DUKES REVIEW: Do you remember Tuck McElroy, Lead Singer of The Good ‘Ol Boys and the driver in the Winnebago from the Blue Brothers? That’s the bad guy in this episode. And unfortunately, that fact alone is pretty much the highlight of this one too. Anyway, here’s the run down: Boss Hogg is kidnapped for ransom by an escaped convict, ‘ol Tuck McElroy himself. The convict had been imprisoned after Boss had testified against him at a trial, and he swore his revenge…which is what this whole episode is about apparently. The convict steals the General Lee, puts Boss in the shotgun seat, buys a log of salami, and then hides in a shack until the Dukes challenge him to a race (weird race – it’s the General Lee vs the Dukes, all of whom are riding horeseback). I made almost none of that up. 6 Corndogs.

As you’ll here in this episode, the Sponsorship Fastlane course is back! One student took the course last year and put in the hard work…and saw $10K in results back! Course is open until April 17, 2018. www.sponsorshipfastlane.com

K&F Show #62: Finnegan’s New Dirt Track Charger and Our Review of The Blues Brothers

Guess what? Thanks to you our favorite razor company of all time (and that we BOTH use and are customers of) is back! Harry’s Razors. Want to give it a try, and support the show? Claim your FREE TRIAL and go to http://Harrys.com/KAFS right now!

This K&F show features a plethora of both witty and banter, as well as both kinds of country music: country and western. Why, you ask? Because we reviewed the Blue Brothers instead of the Dukes this week. Luckily for us all, it still resulted in slap stick humor and flying Mopars with cop shocks, cop tires, and a 440 mill built before catalytic converters. Everything you need is in this movie: amazing blues music, zany 110 mph car chases, and sentences that always end in a one liner: 3 orange whips! Carrie Fischer is in this one too – and Jabba the Hut’s outfit had nothing on how she looks in this movie.

K&F Show #61: Corndog’s Full Blown Spectacular: How to Return a Screen Used, Jumped, and Cut Up General Lee to Full Glory

Finnegan had the flu for this episode and could not leave the toilet long enough to record a show. He gave it the ‘ol college try though. And then he returned to the ‘ol toilet. As such, we brought in Corndog to pinch hit and discuss the restoration of his screen used (and jumped) General Lee as well as review this week’s Dukes of Hazzard episode. He’s literally restoring what’s left of his car (basically the cab of the car) back to full Charger status, to it’s TV configuration, and he’s doing it with original parts that he collected from a dumpster. Several dumpsters. A plethora of dumpsters, you might say. (None of that was a joke). Listen and learn. Also, we never made it to that Dukes review though because (basically) Corndog’s OCD love of all things screen used General Lee took over. I couldn’t stop it, nor did I try. That would be like asking a flower not to bloom or a bird not to sing, right? -Kibbe

K&F Show #60: The Return of Hughie Hogg – S3 Episode 18 of the Dukes of Hazzard

DUKES REVIEW: For this show, it’s all about a new story for an old bad guy. Do you remember who Hughie Hogg is? Hughie is Boss Hogg’s nephew who is effectively a younger, greedier version of Boss. Boss brings him into town from time to time to get his help framing the Dukes, pull heists, and groom him for future evil deeds. Now you’re up to speed. This episode mostly revolves around Hughie tricking Boss into giving him all of his possessions in order to avoid an IRS audit. As soon as Hughie has everything he wanted he renames the town after himself and establishes a world that kind of resembles that one time in Back to the Future II when Biff was powerful in the alternate 1985. Maybe that’s a stretch here, but this is a tough episode to write a witty summary of. Anyway, the IRS audit was just a ruse set up by Hughie in the first place, hijinks ensue, and then the Dukes have to help Boss get out of the mess by working together with he and Rosco. Happy Gilmore’s Grandma has a role in here too. (Really).

As mentioned in this episode, Kibbe’s new baseball tee is coming to Kickstarter on Feb 27 2018! It took years to get here, but it’s finally here. Check out the details and signup for earlybird Kickstarter pricing at http://www.magictee.io

DUKES REVIEW: This Dukes episode is the classic tale that’s as old as time itself; predatory lending, tractor thieving, and media manipulation done by powerful people with their own agenda. Other than the tractor part this could basically be the news in every city every day – so real world lessons here! Anyway, Boss has tractors stolen from people he lent money to to buy them, primarily because the original loans were at a low interest rate. Stick with me here. His evil, devious, yet genius plan was to get people the come to him for new loans on new tractors – which would now happen at the new higher interest rates – and allow him to resell them back their SAME tractors. Even more evil brilliant was the fact that he tricked Daisy Duke into falsely reporting to the media that Bo and Luke were behind it, complete with photo evidence. Never trust what you read in the news, kids. The General goes swimming in this one, so that’s cool. Don’t remember many jumps though. 8 Corndogs.

K&F Show #58: Our Review of the Movie Groundhog Day. Then We Review Groundhog Day. Rise and Shine Campers, It’s Groundog Day (etc., etc.)

MOVIE REVIEW: What can we say that you don’t know already about the movie Groundhog Day? As it turns out…plenty, but mostly because it amused us to do so. This is the epic fable of the blessing – or curse – of repeating a day over and over and over again. Bill Murray stars as the Phil the weatherman from Philly, sent to cover Phil the Groundhog from Punxsutawney give his annual weather prognostication. Only for Phil the weatherman, Phil the Groundhog causes him to re-live his day in Punxsutawney over, and over, and over again. He tries to eat, drink, and kill himself every day…but it fails. Only when he starts doing acts of service and kindness do things improve. Then he finds love and gets out of the cycle, conveniently about when the movie is ready to end. It’s fantastic. There’s a Chevy C-20 that bites it at one point too. And an Eldorado drives on train tracks. 10-out-of-10 Corndogs.

In this episode of K&F our show review is just a little bit different. Actually, it’s a lot of bit different. Today we did review the episode some…but left the feature of the discussion to our interview with actor Chris Hensel, Mr. “Jeb Stuart Duke” himself. That’s right – we interviewed an actual actor from the Dukes of Hazzard! Want to hear something even zanier than that? His role as Jeb Stuart Duke was going to be for a 7-year run..and he shared all the details of the story. Bazing!

Dukes Review: Have you ever seen Animal House? Remember Babs? She’s the bad guy in this episode! Unfortunately that’s about the end of the episode highlights. Anyway, Babs and her bad-guy husband come to Hazzard with some stolen jewels. Somehow the jewels end up in Rosco’s patrol car, Boss thinks he’s in on it, then fires him for not giving him a cut of the take. Shortly thereafter the Dukes get accused of doing the jewel stealing. This of course forces them to team up with Rosco, then get Babs and Mr. Babs to confess their nefarious deeds by terrifying them in a while ride with the General. Boss forgives everyone and the clock resets for the next episode. Feel free to look up Babs on Google or IMDB. You’ll get lost in that one, trust me.

K&F Show #55: Holy Crap, We Got a General Lee! Plus A Full Review of “My Son, Bo Hogg” – S3 Episode 14 of the Dukes of Hazzard

Hey hey! It’s our first show of 2018 and we’re starting off with a returning sponsor, Bombfell! Bombfell is the genius company that lets you buy great fashion, all online, all with the help of a sylist. Looking good AND avoiding the store has never been easier, and you can return if if you don’t like it. We both tried it, and as hard as it is to think we could ever look better…we did! Check it out and let us know what you think. Visit BOMBFELL.COM/KAFS to get started browsing with our $25 discount! Thank YOU for supporting us!

DUKES REVIEW: At some point in the run of every TV show, someone gets temporary amnesia and subsequently brainwashed. This is apparently that episode and (shocker) the guy behind the nefarious scheme is Boss Hogg himself. In the real world brainwashing someone gets you sent to the same prison as rapists and murders, but in the Dukes of just provides 46 minutes of pure entertainment. Anyway, Bo hits his head on a log and forgets who he is. The Doctor treating him mistakes Boss as his father, Boss needs someone to run moonshine in the terrifying territory of Sheriff Little, and the shenanigans unfold as you might guess from there. Daisy climbs through the window of the General in a pleasing fashion, the General jumps, and hijinks ensue.
