Dukes Review: Pin the Tail on the Dukes
This is yet another programmatic episode where the Dukes right a wrong by jumping a car. And by drifting a car where John Schneider is clearing slinging a flying 90 with pure perfection. And by Tom Wopat doing a Tarzan swing off of a roof where he is clearly doing the high stunt work. And that’s good. But what’s more good, nay, GREAT about this episode is the fantastic interaction between Sorrell Booke and James Best (Boss and Rosco) in this episode. They are Albert and Costello great in this episode! At one point Boss hides behind a pyramid of donuts. The show is a 6, but the interaction of those two gets is to 9 solid Corndogs. Enjoy!

K&F Show #111: May Bonus Show – The Last AJ Thrasher Built General Lee

Hey! We’re off this week, but that doesen’t mean we can’t still find a way to put out new shows that showcase great former work (i.e. re-run old interviews you’ve never heard before). Plus Bernie is on vacation this week but was still able to call in from the bar at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky….so win! Our guest John Byrnes told the story of rebuilding his screen used jump-General from the 2005 movie, and it’s awesome. He share this story on The MuscleCar Place episode 141 many years ago. Sometimes re-runs are just what the Dr ordered, right?

K&F Show #110: KibbeLee Update with Nathan Warren and Dukes of Hazzard Review: S4E16 “Shine on Hazzard Moon”

HUGE NEWS! Stamps.com has come back in this episode as a show sponsor! Our man Corndog is over the moon thinking of the savings he will encounter when shipping rare Mopar parts to buyers everywhere. Let’s just say he’s a value shopper. For those of who like to sell parts online (especially eBay), this will be right up your alley of time and money saving awesomeness. Dukes Review: Shine on Hazzard Moon – We’re not going to lie. This is not a bad episode, but this is also not an episode you’ll come back to time and time again. Daisy isn’t in distress, the General is never at risk, etc. There are a few cool jumps though and one sweet shot of a police car landing while looking out the passenger window of the General lee, but that’s it. Well, wait. Wait. Totally wait. There is a freaking huge connection to Star Trek the Next Generation in here! I forgot about that. The conman in this show is played by an actor who has been on Star Trek. That at least led to a good discussion on why the NCC-1701-D was destroyed in the first Star Trek TNG movie. In conclusion, this Dukes episode is OK. 5 Corndogs.

Finally – the KibbeLee update from Mr. Nathan Warren at Warren Customs is in this episode…complete with a full update on our Season 2 pushbar (which he’ll make available for sale) to the failure encountered with Alsa spray chrome. It looks aluminum! Visit www.warrencustoms.com to speak with Nathan personally.

K&F Show #109: A Lifetime of Stunts with The Great Jack Gill: Jumping the General Lee Through a Barn and Jumping Over the General with KITT!

As we previewed last week, this show marks the public release of our feature interview with Hollywood stunt legend Jack Gill! Did you know that he and John Schneider knew each other – in high school? Did you know that prior to becoming a stuntman he was a motorcycle racer – and thought he would one day own a motorcycle shop? As crazy as it seems, he found his way into stunt work and became a part of some of the most legendary automotive productions ever made. Listen in as he tells the stories of Dukes, Knight Rider, Fast and Furious, and more!! The full un-cut version of Jack’s interview is 50 minutes long on it’s own and available to our Patreon audience as well! Links for that are below.

Kibbe and Finnegan Shirts – Back in Black (and Blue)!
For those of you that genuinely wanted some Kibbe and Finnegan merch….you are in total luck. We had absolutely zero time to get the logo switch made, so as of this very second…the old Kibbe and Finnegan “jump car” shirt is still available for the taking. As soon as we have the logo switch complete, we’ll pull this off the market except for special occasion, such as the 4th of July, SEMA, and National Floorlamp Appreciate Day.  Visit KFSHOWSHIRTS.com!

K&F Show #108: Mashup Extravaganza: Finnegan, Jack Gill’s Interview Preview, and Corey Eubanks!

Finnegan returns….again. Yes, we still love Finnegan. Yes, we talk often. Yes, he’s still basically Andy Dwyer from the TV show Parks and Rec. Listen in for an update on Mike’s life, car projects, and ability to appreciate “dad jokes” on the new Avengers movie!

So, big news! In this episode you get to hear from not one, but TWO unbelievable Dukes of Hazzard stunt performing super-heroes. We just interviewed Jack Gill himself – the man that went through the barn on the Dukes and was the guinea-pig of the jump vest. That vest is what stopped people from breaking their backs and is still in use today! Jack worked on the DUkes, Knight Rider, Fast and Furious, and is a wealth of knowledge. The edited interview will release next week but a sneak peek is here for you now. The FULL intervew is already out for our Patreon supporters! Details below for that. Following Jack, listen in to a past interview I (Rob) did with Corey Eubanks in 2011. It’s pretty eye opening to the life and times of what he did back in the day. Enjoy!

Larry is the owner of http://dukescollector.blogspot.com and writes in depth on a NUMBER of rare and unique Dukes of Hazzard items. Larry is a true fan, and if you heard in his full interview on our Patreon show found a way into the Dukes movie – as did stunt driver Tanner Foust (also in this episode)! K&F Show #104: Dukes of Hazzard Review: S4E15 “The Sound of Music, Hazzard Style”

Ding ding ding! Thanks to your realization of that this show runs on your purchase of a a clean, close, and affordable shave our favorite razor company of all time is back! That’s right – a podcast about flying orange cars and bathroom jokes can actually thrive just by buying a really great razor set. America!! Dukes Review: Mickey Gilley comes to Hazzard and Boss Hogg has a couple of bad guys record the concert so he can illegally sell the recordings for cheap, but at a profit to him. Remember Sean Parker and Napster? Well – folklore state that this very episode may be where he got the idea. Anyway, Bo and Luke get framed for it, run from (and then work with) the FBI, and everything is later fine. It turns out one of the bad guys was also in the super-long farting scene from Blazing Saddles so just for that we give this a higher grade than we should: 7 out of 10 Corndogs.

We will be recording our March Patreon show next week – and for the first time ever we’ll be releasing content there that does NOT get run later on the regular show. It’s time to take Patreon to the max! We we still will take your questions so send those babies in. Again, thank you so much to the multitude of you who have joined in, stepped up your pledge, and have (basically) made it known that you wanted us to keep going and growing. We’re still in, and it’s our goal to make Patreon the place in 2019 far more than ever before.
