TMCP #357 - Ryan Brutt – Barn Find Cars and Screen used Generals ; The Pro-Touring Update with Larry Callahan

In this episode of TMCP our feature guest is Ryan Brutt, THE Auto Archaeologist. Ryan has been on the show once before in episode 325 where he discussed how to find classic cars in barns. This time around Ryan has a new book detailing his best barn finds in pictures and words.

For Ryan, finding cars in barns is a full time job. He travels across the country asking people at garages and parts stores about the locations of hidden barn find cars. Making connections and friends is a major key in the way he finds these forgotten classics. To save money he will spend nights at peoples houses while he researches new old car leads. He writes articles for many major magazine platforms and is a regular contributor to your favorite rag.

TMCP #356 - Kahn Media’s own Dan Kahn; Candidate for SEMA Board of Directors – NPD’s Ask Rick; They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To

Kahn Media’s own Dan Kahn; Candidate for SEMA Board of Directors – NPD’s Ask Rick; They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To…and There’s a Reason!

TMCP #355 - Dave Kass from QA1 – Bolt On Upgrades to Make the General Lee Handle!

In this episode of TMCP our feature guest is Dave Kass from QA1 Performance. QA1 has been a staple of suspension specific products forever, in both the race car and street car world. Their line of MOPAR specific products was intriguing to me due to my desire to help my General Lee be a little more like the car car the Duke Boys wished they’d have had!

TMCP #354 - Shannon Hudson of Redline Gauge Works; General Lee Gauge Restoration – Larry Callahan with the Pro-Touring Update and The First Drive AutoX Event!

In this episode of TMCP our feature guest is Shannon Hudson, Owner of Redline Gauge Works in Santa Clarita, CA. Shannon is a previous show guest from way back in episode 142. I asked him back on the show as a part of the update to the General Lee, because gauge restoration is what they do every day…and Shannon is also a huge Mopar fan in particular!

TMCP #353 - Nathan Warren of Warren Customs – Taking my General Lee Clone to “Screen Correct” Configuration; “Ask Rick’s” Trip to Amelia Island!

This weeks interview is with a Nathan Warren of Warren Customs in Hamilton, Alabama. As you may have heard, I recently purchased a 1969 General Lee clone! Nathan heard about this and reached out to offer his services on the car, specifically with the minor body and interior modifications I wanted to make in regards to making the General appear as it did in Season 3 of the Dukes of Hazzard TV Show. Basically, like me, Nathan’s a total Dukes of Hazzard geek!

Don’t forget, as heard in Episode 351 – and inspired by Garrett Daniel’s $10,000 success story – I’ve decided to reopen Sponsorship Fastlane once again. It’s available now until until April 17, 2018. Visit to sign up.
