FEATURE INTERVIEW

Santa Claus himself, captured in this secret photo pulling into the reindeer barn.

This week, our annual year-end guest was back on the show again. He’s known far and wide by many names: Old Saint Nick, Pere Noel, etc., but we all know him best as the one and only Santa Claus! This actually marks Santa’s 4th appearance on our show, and it may be his best one yet (previous shows included Episode 28, Episode 67, and Episode 114)!

Another shot of Santa Claus captured via secret camera. If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think this was a staged photo simply for our benefit.

During the interview we discussed all of the topics you might guess we would, such as how reindeer can achieve higher top speeds using a Corssfit workout regimen, whether Santa really does have a muscle car preference for 4th Gen F-Bodies, and how late people can wait to send in their Christmas letters to him. We also played a little game called “Guess The Christmas Movie” that Santa rocked at!

If you’d like to track Santa’s path on Christmas Eve, simply visit NoradSanta.org to watch his progress in real-time. They also have free apps for Windows, Android, and iOs devices there as well!

Thanks for the interview, Santa!

The Real Reason for the Season

If the hustle and bustle of Christmas has you missing the point of it all, not to worry. Linus Van Pelt helped Charlie Brown with the same question a long time ago, so I’ll take his lead here and read Luke 2: 8-14.

The Chevelle Update

As promised, this week’s show also includes a “mini” update on the progress of the Chevelle, brought to this time by our pals at Steele Rubber.

Right now Jeff Allison is in high gear finishing the transmission tunnel as well as the remainder of the dash and behind-the-dash roll bar fabrication, all of which had to be sandwiched together with my choice of a Vintage Air Gen IV unit, factory style gauges, factory radio, etc.

We have a plan in place to keep the interior “feeling” fairly stock, despite the major modifications to the car. Look for more details soon, with plenty of pictures!

It’s beginning to look a lot like….a Chevelle-mas!
