LS Fest 2012 Preview!
Since one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) events in the LS world is occurring soon we decided to dedicate the majority of this episode to give a full preview of the show.
This is the third year of LS Fest, and if it’s anything like the previous events it will be a can’t miss hit yet again! This particular event has something for everyone with drag racing, autocrossing, 0-60-0 time trials, cruising, and even drifting available for anyone entering their LS powered vehicle.
Holley’s own Bill Tichenor came onto the show as well and mentioned that there will be over 40 parts vendors there, and that there would be plenty of options as well for people just wishing to spectate ($10 tickets) or simply show their LS powered vehicle. (He also mentioned that there’s a pretty cool theme park next to Beech Bend that has an old wooden roller coaster….just in case you need even more to do while you’re there!)
As just a reminder, you can bring ANY vehicle you like as long as it’s LS powered. Bill mentioned that an LS powered VW Karmann Ghia made it out the first year, and last year an LS powered Miata rocked nearly every driving event (including drifting)!
