This unique design by Street Metal Concepts is an interpretation of what an “RS” Chevelle may have looked like if there had been an available option. Now introducing our production series, 1971-1972 Chevelle RS. We have applied an update for conveniences, reliability, and performance capabilities of a modern car without losing the classic appeal of true muscle. The fit, finish, and function of each hand built vehicle is only equaled at the absolute top of the industry. Well managed builds along with all highly skilled master technicians allows us the capability to offer cycle times that just can’t be beat! The concept custom features have all been developed which eliminates weeks if not months of R&D. These are non-typical, high end builds that remain enjoyable throughout the entire process. Bi-weekly photo updates accompanied by daily documentation, provides an exciting and educating experience. With the entry level “street performer”, a maximum delivery date is only 8 months! Our most optioned, over the top, completely brand new Chevelle RS9R, is complete in only 12 months. These are cars that come with all manufacturer warranties in place as well as our own 5 year warranty on all paint, restoration, fabrication, and assembly or installation work performed.  Any build can be upgraded or custom tailored to each persons tastes.  Visits in person are welcomed and encouraged during your build. We understand that most people who have a vehicle built by us have had a long road of hard work and determination to achieve the ability to own a dream car. The process of the build is quite amazing to us and we feel it should be an equal experience to the owner.

PRICING

We have a specific payment plan attached to each build that allows you to see the build progress as payments are being made. All money collected is specifically assigned to parts purchased or labor performed. We will have a consultation to review specifics according to taste and desired use. Once we have established exactly what caters to your liking and a deposit it received, we will submit all the information to our digital renderer. Color choices and options can be seen and then with a final decision, you will receive the final rendering. Your deposit will secure a position in production and a donor car or new body, depending on model chosen, as well as parts will be ordered. Each build will become official upon signature of contract and collection of deposit. The first payment is due on the first day of the actual car being worked on. From there, a payment schedule relative to the level of build, will be collected until the specified amount is reached. At that point all transactions cease and the remaining balance is due upon delivery.

Each car will receive it’s own build identification plate with a specific code identifying options chosen and order of production.  The car pictured proudly wears its code plate with numbers ending in 001. Upgrades are endless to create whatever you desire as well as any other type of build.  This specific car was designed to offer entry level pricing in the high end, one off custom built resto mod market. We are currently developing other set price packages with advanced drive train and suspension components. Our flagship model will be the Chevelle RS9R. It will have a GM performance LS9 supercharged powerplant mounted to a Roadster Shop IRS Fast Track chassis. This is a fully capable competitive track car as well as an exotic show stopper. A brand new body shell along with a multitude of unique features will complete this ultimate vehicle.
